To help you with planning your visit to Godstone Farm, we have put together answers to some of your frequently asked questions.

 

Will you be open this November?

Following the latest government guidelines, Godstone Farm will close from 5pm on Wednesday 4th November 2020.

We hope to be open again in December 2020, and will be continuing to monitor the latest updates from the government.

 

 

I have a booking for November 2020, what do I do?

Please be assured our team has contacted everyone via email who has a booking for this November, offering options for your booking. If you haven’t heard from us, please contact us via email (havefun@godstonefarm.co.uk) and we will be happy to assist. Please note, during this time, emails may take longer to respond to.

 

 

I have a booking for December 2020, what do I do?

We hope to reopen to our guests in December and to welcome you to our Christmas 2020 event. However, we will continue to monitor the latest government guidelines and will be in contact with you should anything change.

 

 

I am an Annual Pass Holder, what do I do?

We will be in contact with our Annual Pass Holders soon to advise of next steps. During this time, you will be unable to book a visit to Godstone Farm, until we have confirmation on a date for reopening.

 

 

I would like to book tickets for December 2020/January 2021, can I book?

At this time, we have suspended the sales of any future tickets until we have confirmation on our reopening date. We hope to be open again in December, however we are continuing to monitor the latest government guidelines and will update our website and social media pages with further information.

 

 

I have booked for Christmas 2020, will it still be going ahead?

We hope to be open from December 2020 for our Christmas event. However, we will continue to monitor the latest government guidelines and will be in contact via email should anything change.

 

 

I’m trying to contact you, but unable to speak with anyone?

I have booked for Christmas 2020, will it still be going ahead?

We hope to be open from December 2020 for our Christmas event. However, we will continue to monitor the latest government guidelines and will be in contact via email should anything change.

 

 

Do I have to pay for my baby to come in with us?

If you do not wish for your baby (Under 1 years) to receive a gift from the toyshop then no you do not need to purchase them a ticket. If you would like them to receive a gift then you will need to purchase the Child Under 2 years ticket.

 

Please note, as per our terms and conditions ‘Under 1’s are free when accompanying a full paying child.  Parents wishing to visit Father Christmas with a child aged under one, without an older child, will be asked to pay for a child aged 1-2 ticket, please note gifts will be suitable for children aged 1 plus.’

 

 

Do I need to buy an adult ticket to visit Father Christmas?

As long as you have a valid Farm ticket or Annual Pass you do not need to purchase any additional adult tickets to be able to attend the Father Christmas experience. Please note only two adults are able to attend the Father Christmas experience at any one time.

 

 

Do I get a refund if a have Covid-19 symptoms?

If we are able to transfer your tickets to another date then we will but if this is not possible we will issue you a full refund. Please note we must be informed before your booked time slot. If you do not inform us before your booked time slot then no refund will be given.

 

 

What extra covid-19 measures do you have in place?

We have provided extra ventilation to our experience areas. We ask all adults & children 11+ to wear a face mask throughout the experience and to keep a two metre distance from Father Christmas and his elves at all times. We ask all participants to hand sanitiser at certain times during their experience and we have enhanced our cleaning schedule to make sure that we adhere to the government guidelines.

 

 

Can I book a ticket to see Father Christmas over the phone?

Unfortunately we are only able to accept Father Christmas bookings via our website – www.godstonefarm.co.uk

 

 

Can we have bring more than two adults for our Father Christmas experience?

Unfortunately due to the limited space and need for social distancing we are only able to have 2 adults in the experience at any one time.

 

 

Can I take my own photos?

You will have two professional photo opportunities during your experience but you are more than welcome to take your own photos as well. Please note the professional photos are an additional cost if you choose to buy them.

 

 

How long does the experience last?

We expect the experience to last between 15 & 20 minutes but you are welcome to stay on the farm for the day.

 

 

Is the experience wheelchair accessible?

We have tried to make the Father Christmas experience as wheel chair accessible as possible. Unfortunately the corridor from Father Christmas’ room to the toy shop is very thin and not suitable for wheelchair access. We can give wheelchair access to the toy shop but it will be a different route than normal.

 

 

Are you doing your SEND Father Christmas visits?

Yes we are doing our SEND Father Christmas Visits. These tickets can be booked on our website under the SEND Father Christmas ticket category – www.godstonefarm.co.uk

 

 

How many people are in each session?

Each session is limited to one family or family bubble of up to 4 children and 2 adults. If your family or family bubble is bigger than 4 children you will need to book 2 time slots one after the other.

 

 

Does my Father Christmas ticket include use of the play barn?

Yes your Father Christmas ticket does include use of the play barn. Play barn slots will be issued on your arrival to the farm on a first come first serve basis.

 

 

How long can I spend at the farm?

The farm is open from 9.30am – 4.45pm and you are welcome to spend all day. Please remember that you need to be at the Elf check in desk at least 5 minutes before your allocated timeslot. If you miss your time slot we cannot guarantee that we will be able to find you another one. You will also need to be outside the play barn 5 minutes before your booked play barn time slot. If your time slot is missed it will be unlikely that we will be able to fit you into an alternative one.

Are you open?

Godstone Farm will temporarily close from 5pm on Wednesday 4th November 2020. At this time, no tickets are available to purchase from after this date. We will continue to monitor the latest government guidelines and once we have more information, we will update our website and social media pages.

 

 

How can I book?
Entry to Godstone Farm is strictly pre-book only via the Godstone Farm website.

During the booking process, you will need to confirm the number of people in your party, along with your visit date to the farm.

Tickets may be available on the day through the Godstone Farm website. Tickets will not be available to purchase from the gate on the day or over the phone.

 

 

How much are tickets?
As we continually review areas of the farm which are currently unavailable to guests, we have discounted our tickets. Usually tickets are £10.25 per person, however since re-opening you can purchase tickets for £8.25 per person.

 

 

We are currently self-isolating and have tickets to visit, what do we do?
If you are self-isolating, please contact our Visitor Experience team (havefun@godstonefarm.co.uk) to discuss your booking. We do recommend contacting us as early as possible, so we can complete any necessary amendments.

 

I have a Raffle Voucher which was due to expire before July 2020, can I still redeem this voucher?
Yes, we have provided an extension on our Raffle Vouchers until 31st December 2020. However, as all our guests are required to pre-book, you will need to book your visit through the Godstone Farm website using the ‘Membership Adult’ and ‘Membership Child’ options. If you need to purchase any additional tickets, you can also add additional tickets to your basket.

On the day of your visit, you will need to bring with you your Raffle Voucher and the booking reference number to redeem your entry.

 

I am running late, will I have any problems with entry?
Please do not worry, your ticket is valid for the day and can still be redeemed for when you arrive. You may have a slightly longer wait for entry, and we would also advise to maintain social distancing if you do have a small wait for entry.

How can I book?

Since reopening, our entry price has been discounted to reflect areas of the farm which are currently unavailable to guests. Usually tickets are £10.25 per person, however you can currently purchase tickets for £8.25 per person.

Below is a further breakdown of ticket prices:
Adult (16+ years): £8.25
Child (2 – 16 years): £8.25
Child (1 year): £2.10
Child (under 1 year): Free

To obtain a FREE carer ticket, please book for all other persons in your party as usual and book a members (free) ticket for the additional carer. On the day of your visit, remember to bring along your booking reference number and proof of the disability to entitle you to redeem the carer ticket at the entrance.

 

The weather forecast does not look great for my visit, can I change the date?
As per our terms and conditions, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Come rain or sunshine, Godstone Farm is open all year round and we are ready to welcome you and your party to our interactive farm.

During the wet weather, we do recommend our guests bring their wellies and raincoats. We do have undercover areas including our Main Barn, Top Barn as well as areas to have your lunch.

 

How can I redeem my free carer ticket?
To obtain a free carer ticket, please book all members of your party as usual via the Godstone Farm website, and then select a ‘Membership Adult’ ticket for the carer. This is a zero value ticket and will ensure the carer is included in capacity.

On the day of your visit, please bring with you the booking reference number and proof of disability such as a DLA letter to redeem your free carer ticket.

 

Can I purchase a After School Ticket?

Unfortunately, After School Tickets are not currently available. We are continuously reviewing this, and we will inform guests via the Godstone Farm website should we release After School Tickets in the future.

 

Can I change the date of my booking?
As per our terms and conditions, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. We will be unable to amend your booking for another date or time.

What are your opening times?
Our operating hours are 9.30am till 4.45pm. Please note the car park closes promptly at 5pm.

Godstone Farm will temporarily close from 5pm on Wednesday 4th November 2020.

 

How do we get to Godstone Farm?

Godstone Farm can be found a short distance away from Junction 6 (Godstone) on the M25.

 

If travelling by car, you can also get to us using the A25 and A22. Follow the signposts to Godstone and from there you can pick up brown tourist board signs to Godstone Farm.

Please note, if you are visiting from 12th October 2020, improvement water works are commencing on Tilburstow Hill Road. We are open as usual during this period, and you can still access the farm by car. Diversions and signage will be in place, however if you are travelling from the M25 and A22, please allow extra time to follow the diversion along Eastbourne Road.

 

If travelling by train, the nearest train station is Caterham (Surrey).

 

If travelling by bus, there are several buses that stop in Godstone Village, which is just a short walk from the farm. Below is additional information on the bus services, however for more information on bus timetable, please visit the Surrey County Council website.

400 Bus – East Grinstead, Crawley, Gatwick, Redhill and Caterham. Serves Redhill and Caterham train stations, this service operates 7 days per week.

409 Bus – East Grinstead, Lingfield, Godstone, Caterham & Warlingham. Services Godstone and Caterham train stations. This service does not operate on Sundays.

410 Bus – Redhill, Godstone, Oxted and Hurst Green. Serves Oxted and Redhill train stations.
This service operates 7 days per week.

 

How much are tickets?

Is Godstone Farm wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Godstone Farm is wheelchair accessible. All areas of the farm can be accessed by wheelchair.

We have a few disabled toilets situated around the farm but please note we do not currently have a hoist.

We have a first aid room with a bed that can be used for any medical needs that you may have but please note again this does not have a hoist.

 

Can I purchase food at Godstone Farm?
Yes, Wiglet’s Café and Top Shop is open for our guests to purchase hot food and cold food such as pizzas, hot dogs, panini’s and sandwiches. Ice cream, sweets and crisps are also available to purchase around the farm.

Please note, Topshop is weather and season permitting.

 

Can I bring my own picnic?
You are welcome to bring your own picnic to Godstone Farm. You are also welcome to purchase food from out Wiglet’s Café or Top Shop*. We offer hot and cold food, including pizzas, hot dogs, panini’s and sandwiches. Ice cream, sweets and crisps are also available to purchase around the farm.

There are several areas around the farm to eat food, including undercover areas near our courtyard.

 

Do you have a car park?
Yes, we have a car park available for our guests. There is no charge for using our car park. Please note, the car park is locked at 5pm sharp.

 

Do I need to pay for using the car park?
There is no charge for visitors of Godstone Farm to use the car park.

 

Can I bring my dog to Godstone Farm?
Only assistance dogs are permitted at Godstone Farm.

What is included in my entry?
Your ticket includes entry to Godstone Farm. The areas which are available for our guests include the Farm Trail, Outdoor Play Areas, The Dino Trail, Top Shop, Wiglet’s Café and Gift Shop.

If you purchase our ‘Playbarn Inclusive Ticket’ this will also include a 35 minute time slot for our Playbarn.

At this time, the tearoom, animal holding, Wiglet’s play village and tractor rides will remain closed.

 

Are there toilets available at the farm?
Yes, toilets are available around the farm, including disabled toilets and baby changing. Please note, we do not currently have a disability hoist onsite.

A farm map is available here or speak to a member of staff who will be happy to advise where the toilets are located.

 

 

Who do I need to contact about loosing an item during my visit?
Please contact the Visitor Experience Team (havefun@godstonefarm.co.uk) should you have left an item at the farm. Please provide the team with a detailed description along with a possible location of where the item may have been left and a contact number.

 

 

Do you offer any animal feeding experiences?
You can purchase animal feed from the Gift Shop. The animal feed is only available for the Sheep, Goats, Cows and Llamas. When visiting the Gift Shop, you will be required to wear a mask. If you are exempt, please inform a member of staff before entering the Gift Shop.

We are also running Pig Feeding and Duck Feeding throughout the day, however this is subject to change. Therefore we do recommend checking our Welcome Board on the day for feeding opportunities. Our team at the Gate will also inform you of events for the day.

 

 

Is the Tractor ride available?
Unfortunately, the tractor ride is currently unavailable. Any updates or information relating to our Tractor ride will be announced via the Godstone Farm website and our social media channels.

Has the Indoor Playbarn reopened?
Yes, we’re pleased to announce the Playbarn has reopened to our guests. To book a time slot for the Playbarn, please ensure to book our ‘Playbarn Inclusive Ticket’.

We ask all guests visiting the Playbarn to follow the guidelines outlined.

With your ‘Playbarn Inclusive Ticket’, you are welcome to arrive at the farm anytime from 9.30am, however you must arrive at the Playbarn entrance 5 minutes before your time slot. Due to the limited numbers, time slots cannot be changed. Playbarn time slots cannot be purchased on the day, please ensure to book the ‘Playbarn Inclusive Ticket’ from the website.

 

 

How do I book a time slot for the Playbarn?

To book a time slot for the Playbarn, please ensure to book our ‘Playbarn Inclusive Ticket’ from the Godstone Farm website. This ticket includes entry to the farm, as well as a time slot for the Indoor Playbarn. Time slots for the Playbarn cannot be purchased on the day.

We ask all guests visiting the Playbarn to follow the guidelines outlined. You are welcome to arrive at the farm anytime from 9.30am, but you must arrive at the Playbarn entrance 5 minutes before you time slot. Due to limited numbers, time slots cannot be changed or amended.

 

 

How long do I get in the Playbarn?

You have 35 minutes within the Playbarn. You can select your time slot during the booking process, when booking your ‘Playbarn Inclusive Ticket’. The ‘Playbarn Inclusive Ticket’ includes entry into the farm and a time slot for the Playbarn.

Between each time slot, cleaning of the area will be completed. Please ensure to follow the guidelines as outlined during your visit.

 

 

I am running late for my Playbarn time slot; can I move my booking?

As per our terms and conditions, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Due to limited numbers for the Playbarn, time slots cannot be changed or amended.

 

 

What facilities are available within the Playbarn?

Within our Playbarn, toilets including a disabled toilet are available to guests. Napping Changing facilities are also available.

Snacks and drinks can be purchased within the Playbarn. When you arrive at the Playbarn a member of our team will allocate a table for your time slot, where you can enjoy a drink or a snack.

 

 

What are the guidelines for visiting the Indoor Playbarn?

We have limited our capacity for the Indoor Playbarn, which must be booked in advance using our ‘Playbarn Inclusive Ticket’. We have time slots available throughout the day, where you can enjoy 35 minutes in our Indoor Playbarn. This can only be pre-booked online.

You are welcome to arrive at the farm anytime from 9.30am, but must be at the Playbarn entrance 5 minutes before your time slot. A staff member will check you into your pre-booked time slot.

During your time in the Indoor Playbarn, we ask all guests to use hand sanitiser provided on entry, whilst maintaining social distancing. Adults must wear a face mask within the Playbarn, unless eating or drinking and stay at their designated table as much as possible. After using the equipment or facilities, we advise all guests to wash their hands for 20 seconds.

Do you have any information regarding the nursery and pre-school?
At this moment, work is underway for our new nursey, scheduled to open Easter 2021. Working in Partnership with Kidsplay Childcare, we aim to offer a unique nursery setting.

To keep up to date with the latest information relating to the Nursery, you can register to the Kidsplay email listing via the Nursery page on the Godstone Farm website. Alternatively, more information regarding the nursery and pre-school will become available on the Godstone Farm website, as well as on our Facebook page and social media channels.

 

Do you have any vacancies for your nursery and pre-school?
Work is currently underway for our new nursery, scheduled to open Easter 2021. Until we are a little closer to opening, more information will become available including vacancies to join the team. Please continue to check the Godstone Farm and Kidsplay Childcare website for updates.

Can I book a Birthday Party with yourselves?
We are not currently offering our Birthday Party packages at this time. We are continually reviewing government guidelines, and once we can reintroduce our birthday party packages, we will update our website and social media pages.
